The mission of the First Lutheran Church’s Community Clothing Closet is to provide clean, gently-used clothing to individuals and families of our community at nominal cost. We strive to make clothing available for men, women, children, and infants of all sizes.
The closet is open to the public on the third Saturday of every month, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
The closet can also be available by appointment, in times of emergency.
The ministry is supported entirely by local donations and the people of our congregation.
If you or someone you know is in need of clothing assistance, or you would like to learn more about this ministry, or to volunteer, please contact the church office at 724-845-7518.
Donations of clean, gently-used clothing are welcome year-round. Children’s clothing is especially needed. Donations can be dropped off on the front porch of our parish house at 358 Main Street in Leechburg.
Due to hygiene concerns, we cannot accept used hats, swimwear, socks, or underwear.
The proceeds of the clothing sale support ministries which include.
